Guided Imagery as A Relaxation Technique for PTSD

Guided imagery is a relaxation and mental imaging technique shown to be helpful with stress related to symptoms in fibromyalgia and cancer patients. It is currently being studied as an effective therapy for PTSD and thus far, has shown positive results in research studies at Duke University in North Carolina.
